One of only two pictures I have of me holding her on her birth day. I didn't know my dad had taken it until he showed it to me just last week... it makes me tear up every time I look at it.
I was so lucky to get to hold her right after she was born, even for just a few minutes. So many NICU mommies don't get that chance. I'll always be grateful that I did.

She's precious! You're right...I didn't get the chance to hold him and it still makes me so sad. You're so lucky you could & that your dad got that picture. It's priceless!

Hi Julia! This photo is beautiful! Its crazy how fast time passes! How are you doing? Are you enjoying being home? I have days that I love it and other days were I really dont. ;) Glad to see you are both doing well!
She looks so content just being where she is, with mom's arms around her (It's almost like her face just says "I'm gonna soak this up while I can!". This is an adorable photo. It's good your dad got to snap this..I'm sure it's nice to have a reminder of those first precious moments you met her.
