I just found out that I am unexpectedly expecting as I finish my last law school semester finals, get read to study for the bar, and prepare to start working. I am as terrified as you were at the beginning--maybe more so, and I am worried that the employer who is planning to hire me in November will (a) not want me to work for them anymore, since I will be about 7 months pregnant by then (b) not give me enough maternity leave, or that it will be unpaid, and about 100 other things. But reading your blog made me feel better that things really could work out okay. I'm still trying to come out of shock...but you give me hope that once I do I can pull it together.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8268723950449282729.post-13523860394865027442009-05-05T10:37:00.000-04:002009-05-05T10:37:00.000-04:00I still have 5 lbs to go, and my son is 9 months o...I still have 5 lbs to go, and my son is 9 months old. I know it's because I don't exercise nearly as hard as I did before (I was super in shape when I got pregnant). But yeah, I can't believe how different my body is. Even though all my pre-preg pants were always cut big - I like my clothes to be loose - they still don't fit me, even just 5 lbs over my pre-preg weight. My hips and thighs are just so much wider now.edmohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04130415256079382795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8268723950449282729.post-54264008467094692262009-05-04T14:12:00.000-04:002009-05-04T14:12:00.000-04:00No worries, you're still to close to having just d...No worries, you're still to close to having just delivered to have anything normal back yet. By your one year mark it will all be good! I am 32 with three kids (my youngest is four) A little jiggly yes, but all things considered smokin for a mom of 3. I'm sure you still turn heads. Love your blog and identify with all your feelings. My third was a surprise, after I had gotten rid of all pregnancy and baby associated items. 9 months of crying through the pregnancy and refusing to talk about the impending birth of our little "pill" baby! we call him Ortho Novum 777.Heathernoreply@blogger.com
